Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) is a combination of approximately 95% stone, sand, or gravel bound together by 5% bitumen, therefore selection of both bitumen and aggregates is important (not one of them).  Production HMA conducted at asphalt mixing plant facility where bitumen is heated and mixed with the heated aggregate in temperature within 150 to 170 Celsius degree. To produce good quality HMA, proper plant management is important, particularly, mixing and producing temperature of asphalt mixtures.  After completion of the production process, the asphalt mixture is then placed and compacted at proper temperature within 120 to 160 Celsius degree using a series compaction roller, so quality control should be conducted to achieve the required field density, particularly, rolling pattern at placing and compacting temperature. To serve our customers in the provinces of Riau and Riau Islands, PT.
