Sharing Best Practice of Managing Safe Work

For one week more from October 13 to 25th 2014, management of PT. Harap Panjang carry out Health Environment and Safety (HES) Course at Duri Operation Office. A hundred and nine employees of PT. Harap Panjang from variuos departement attended this courses. This event was held to encourage the implementation of HES as a culture and responsibility in each Harap Panjang employees, as well as to opening the new project of road construction service at Chevron Pacific Indonesia, Duri- Dumai operation areas.

 Seven speaker’s were present at the event including two speaker from PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia, three from Rekind Worley Parson and two from internal PT. Harap Panjang. The materi of HES courses including HES induction, Managing safe work, Motor vehicle safety both light and heavy vehicles.

Ir. Ferry Sutanto – Project Manager PT. Harap Panjang, explained how to turn health and safety at work into a culture, ie encouraging the implementation of HES program in every where. Also increasing compliance among manager, supervisor and workers in the implementation of provision and standard of HES to attain minimum level of accidents or even eliminate it; creating peace as well as increasing effeciency, effectiveness, and productivity at work.
