Founded in 1978, PT Harap Panjang is one of Riau’s largest contractor in civil constructions – roads, bridges, harbour and airport. In 1994, PT. Harap Panjang develop its business in procurement of construction materials, transportation and rental of heavy equipment. Since 2001, PT Harap Panjang worked on the critical road improvement project in the Chevron Pacific Indonesia-Riau, an international oil and gas industry, in addition to conduct road improvement and road rehabilitation in Indonesia ministry of public works. This project was implemented an Engineering Procurement and Constructions (EPC) contracts where PT Harap Panjang was given full authority and responsibility for design and construction the project. Rehabilitation of roads is done by utilizing the existing material with stabilisation techniques (recycling) therefore more economical and environmental friendly.

With our mission to become Road Contractor recognized and trusted in Indonesia and at the international level, PT Harap Panjang implement the principles of health, safety and environment (K3L).  Management of PT. Harap panjang is committed to implementing and continuously improving K3 and Environmental Management Systems (SMK3L) based on the international standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 14001: 2004. Director and all employees are also committed to providing customer satisfaction in terms of the technical service, quality product and delivery of materials. In order to fulfill the above mission, PT. Harap Panjang implement a quality system in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008 and improving the technical ability with actively participate in various discussions and seminars on road stabilization techniques in Indonesia and overseas.
